Green Valley (Baguio) Hotel and Resort, Inc. was originally established and organized in December 1975 as The Green Valley Country Club, a club exclusively for its members and their dependents and guests. After two years of construction, it became fully operational in December 1977. It remained as a country club until 1990 when an earthquake destroyed practically all hotels in Baguio City. In an effort to revive tourism in Baguio City, the Department of Tourism requested Green Valley Country Club to temporarily open its facilities to the public and accordingly accredited it as a hotel.

In 1994 The Green Valley Baguio Hotel and Resort, Inc. was incorporated and organized to take over the assets and facilities of the Green Valley Country Club and operate it as a resort hotel.

The Resort offers its guests 68 single rooms, 4 Junior Suites, 6 units of 2 to 3 bedroom apartelles, spacious dining areas, cafes, lounges, gift shops and a view deck.

The sports facilities consist of a 6-lane tenpin and 6 lanes duckpin bowling area, badminton court, volleyball court, indoor tennis court and swimming pool. It also has a billiard hall, table tennis area, air hockey tables and a video arcade. The hotel has spacious function rooms for conventions, conferences and seminars.

Today Green Valley is one the more famous landmarks in the City of Pines.
